N1R Series
N1R series explores the connection between a product and the two-dimensional line-drawings’ generated to produce it. With the aid of digital fabrication, design drawings can be used to produce a form, creating a direct connection between the discipline of design and that of building. With the N1r lamp, digital fabrication yields a set of simple two-dimensional vertical ribs and horizontal plates which are assembled by hand, to create a complex three dimensional form.
